On pages 34-37 of my thesis project proposal is Appendix 1 - The Experimental Objective Worksheet. This worksheet was created by ASU faculty member Jessica Rajko, who also happens to be one of my committee members. The worksheet contains an awesome serious of questions that are meant to help a designer understand the desired experience they are trying to create. As part of my thesis project proposal I proposed the following:
"I will use the Experimental Objectives Worksheet (EOW) created by Jessica Rajko (See appendix 1), as a means to evaluate and identify what my specific experimental objectives are for each of my forthcoming installations. The EOW is a model for me to methodically focus my attention throughout my iteration process and provides me with a set of evaluation criteria to use in looking at site-specific, video and sound, real-time processing, and user experience concepts."
In an effort to track the data collected from these questions in a digital format, I created a Google Form with the questions from the worksheet. I then embedded the form on my website under the new tab EOW. But don't get too excited, I made this page password protected because I am only trying to collect my own data at this point and I do not need sneaky web hacking algorithms to leave me spammy forms submissions. If you want to read the questions you will have to get them off of my thesis project proposal.
